I guess I'm of the minority opinion in this group. On occasion, I actually like the electronic sport sound of my Taycan. I find it particularly enjoyable and useful in Sport Plus mode, when doing some spirited backcountry driving. Under hard acceleration and deceleration, the sound helps me have more relationship to my speed without having to look at the speedometer (yes, I have the HUD, so I'm not relying on the sound to understand my speed). I like the way it sounds when it shifts into the 2nd gear at 60mph, and when it "blips" on deceleration. I think it sounds pretty cool inside the cabin. I've never heard what it sounds like from the outside.
That said, I don't use this feature often. My regular driving is in Sport mode, with the sound off. I too really enjoy the quietness of the cabin and how smooth the car drives. Hearing the subtle sounds of the electric motor is enough for my daily driving.
It was hard to tell what was happening in the OP's video. Was that ADDITIONAL electronic sound coming from the car? Like the cheesy stuff that some Tesla owner's do to their cars, simulating ICE engines, etc.? That's certainly not for me!!!
I hope there's no Taycan owners that do this to their cars!
