Yeah, I think it’s been up for a while as “available summer 2021”…

We’ll see when/if it actually happens.

My dealer told me this thing was “on it’s way” back in Jan 2021. I have no idea what takes them so long to increase some wire gauge and change a control signal…

I don’t think the price is correct though. I guess we’ll see on that too.

Maybe they’re keeping costs down by continuing to use 10AWG wire…?

I am curious if they have upgraded the pig tail wire (from #10 AWG) and if the unit overheats in the enclosure.
If anyone buys it please let us know.

It doesn't come with a pigtail - because this thing does 80A, it must be hardwired to a 100A circuit. If you look at the installation section (page 17) in the customer manual (linked PDF on the page), there are specs for the conduit and supply cable. It states that it supports from AWG 0 to AWG 4.

Clipper and Juicebox come with pigtails which you connect with your line inside an electrical box. Only Chargepoint comes without a pigtail and instead you attach your line wires directly on the charger.

It looks like this PMCC follows the Chargepoint approach.
