PPF is a must for me. I just can't decide whether to do the front half or the intire car. Is there any rash issues on the rear side panels?

I did the whole car. The side panels have a surprising amount of horizontal surface to the the fender shape. My car was nicked on the driver rear panel above the tire by a falling acorn (on the way to get the PPF installed!).

I did the whole car as well + HALO ceramic coating. They're expensive cars - PROTECT THEM! My car will look always look new.

I did the half bonnet option and regretted it. You get a horrible line in the middle of the bonnet that can get dirt embedded.

Yea full panel is the way to go utilizing bulk film (not plotter cut)

Did XPEL on front facing surfaces, mirrors, door handle cups and the surface exposed when the rear hatch is raised. Then GTechniq ceramic on the rest of the car.

5-10 years. Xpel has a long warranty. I have had many vehicles with PPF and never had any longevity issues. Cleans easy as well.

Just starting to consider this myself. I’ve always had new cars paint corrected and coated but not ppf as I’m not a fan of the finish and don’t keep them that long!

This time I may change - and recommendation in Surrey? What sort of cost are we seeing?

Morning,
Highly recommend full PPF on the car. Had it on my Jaguar I Pace & now have it on Ice Grey Taycan.
Preserves the colour , enhances resale value, easy to clean, protects against scratches & small bumps. Small price to pay now for long term gain in my view.

Is there any noticeable difference in how the color looks with ppf? I’m thinking about ppf the front of my mamba when it arrives, but with only half the car being done and on a color with so much depth, even the slightest color change would be noticeable

I have had PPF without any issues except for one. However, one thing always bothers me. I remember as a kid going to my Grandmothers house and always sitting on the Couch with plastic covers on the seats. I never liked the feeling of that. Not the same but still bothers me.
