Preheating error from MyPorsche app

I tried to preheat my car through the app a month ago when the colder weather started and realised that it was giving errors such as 'Climate Control - not available in privacy mode' even though the car wasn't in privacy mode. I tried to log out and log in again but I still got errors.

Over the last few weeks, it gives the error of 'Climate Control - The function cannot be currently executed. Please try again or contact Porsche'.

I know that it definitely worked through the app around March time when I used it, I just don't know what's happened in-between.

I understand that this can also be a sign that the heater has failed. Does the heater still get hot?

A software update since last March (I got it around Sep but no idea when it launched) caused the privacy mode bug, I got rid of it after a while after initiating the heating from my mobile while within the car.

Never got the other error you mentioned.

Can be a sign of a failed heater.

Thanks for coming back to me. The heating still works fine and gets hot. I did get a software update done but I think that was around 1 year ago, and I'd used the preheating feature from my app many times after that.

I got this error this week-activated privacy mode in the car, then deactivated it again- can now access remote functions
