Production Picture in TYD for Taycan?

I was over on Rennlist in the 992 forum looking to compare delivery notes and delays on deliveries and it appears that they get an actual picture of their car once it is complete at the factory (see attached). According to the 992 guys, "On My Porsche, go to My vehicles, and then click on, discover current phase. Once your car is done, you will see a factory video below. If you get lucky, you will eventually see the factory pic of your car." I just went to my TYD (car completed production 7/16/2021) and I see the video and watched to the end, and clicked all over the page, but only a picture like the configurator gives you was on the page.

I’ve seen these pics in the 992 forum a bunch also, but I don’t remember anything like that being present in the Taycan TYD. But maybe I missed it.

Someone on the 992 thread suggested Microsoft Edge app. I tried Chrome on PC, Edge on PC, Edge on iPhone, Safari on iPhone, Chrome on iPhone, and MyPorsche app. All show the same "rendered" pic with the footnote "vehicle shown may be different from ordered configuration."

Darn. That sucks. How hard is it to have computer control a fixed camera to snap a pic as each car hits that stage in the process and upload to TYD?

That’s a very cool gesture and one I’d hoped they’d have implemented for the Taycan.

Just having TYD is unique and was originally only slated for the 911. They added the Taycan to it fairly recently and most Porsche models haven't been added yet.
