I have had my Taycan since this past December and live in North East US (Philadelphia) and this week our weather warmed up from 10°F-20°F to 50°F-60°F, and my range has improved roughly 64 miles. I went from about 1.9 miles/kwh to 2.7 miles/kwh. I had hoped this was what would happen. We have had a very cold winter here and the range had really taken a hit.

You should see 3.5 miles/kwh in the spring/summer/fall. With range mode etc, potentially up to 4 miles/kwh. I manage this in my 4S in the UK.

Mine has averaged 3mi/kwh over 27k miles.

You’re not driving it Porsche enough ?

OP - I like the positive angle. Most people moan about losing range in winter. Being happy about improved range over summer is a nicer way to think of it.

Gosh.... I feel like i must be driving mine like i stole it!

My GTS ST with the 21" RS alloys has averaged 2.1mi/kWh over the 11000 miles I have driven?

@Murph7355 looks like you have the same car / wheels... What's your secret? 80Psi in the tyres?

Wow, I've never seen more than 3.2 on my 4S and have tried hyper miling on longer journeys. I assumed the dash could even show 4.something :D

Me neither. 20K miles on my 4S (20" aero wheels) and my average from Day Zero until I sold it 2 years later was 3.0 mi/kWH

I bought my car used and it can from California with presumably warm weather. It averaged 3.0 miles/kWh before I owned it. I have averaged about 1.7 miles/kwh since I have owned it and driven in sub 32°F weather. Crazy to see how much the cold impacts the car, both due to a cold battery, and a cold cabin requiring heat.

Just done my first return trip to London, which is almost exactly what I'll be doing for work.

Taking it relatively gently, standard UK motorway speeds 40-70mph depending on roadworks etc

Ac econ on low, outside temp between 9-14*c, i averaged 3.5 m/kwh, giving total range of nearly 340 miles.

I covered just over 255, with 80 left when I got home.

Battery temperature didn't exceed 19*c.

So looking fairly decent for me moving forward.

Id expect another 20 ontop (same conditions) when I change to my 19" S aero's.

my indicator on my GTS ST is at 240 miles at 100% (EPA 233 miles). Btw, is UK Miles the same as US Miles?

Recent trips to ski areas averaged about 2 mi/kwh

Here’s a trip I did on Tuesdays in my J1.1 GTS on 21” wheels.

Based on my home charge tariff this bring the cost per mile to below 3p… im
Happy with that ?

I am getting between 2.2 and 2.7 depending on road conditions. Short runs 1.2 to 1.6 often enough in winter because of the heater. A trip to and from Anglesey gave 2.5 last month.
In summer I have seen 3.0 one way on the same trip in flowing traffic, presumably because of slipstreaming because the same journey a few days apart in light traffic was 2.7. So 10% to 20% worse in winter.

The app gives my average as 3.2 ? ? ? which is laughable because that would be mathematically impossible so I take no notice of that any more.
