Really basic help needed

Hi,

I am sure it is just not me being tech savvy but I cannot get the Porsche connect app to work.

Can someone advise what I am doing wrong, it would be much appreciated.

Are you logged into the PCM in the car with your My Porsche account? That’s one of the things that links the car to your app.

Your dealer should have set this all up for you when you took delivery. Go back with a list of things that need programing and get it done.

Your phone or the computer you are using is not connected to the Porsche servers. This occurs via the setup process in the car. Has this occurred? Was it working previously?

No, only just got the car and was delivered with no hand over and Porsche have been terrible at replying.

Slightly further ahead now as in phone to car, but not got phone to the Porsche server.

Any advice on how to do this would be much appreciated.

Yes, not been overly impressed with the service.

Was a delivery as opposed to a handover but I’ve spent hours trying to sort.

The connection you have is rarely needed or used. The bottom right quadrant is only for connecting the phone to the PCM for syncing you calendar (for example).

The key quadrants are the other 3 and always the top left and bottom left.

Is your car in privacy mode or not? If it is (check your account on the PCM) and disable privacy mode as this is needed for remote access.

How far do you get with My Porsche website as the app is secondary?
