Rear Light bar - keeping it on without having the headlights on

With BMW these things can be modified so that a light etc can stay on or off independent of the headlights - it's call coding. Anyone know if this can be done for the Taycan. I think the lightbar at the back makes the car look really nice from the back but it's a shame it only comes on when the headlights are working.

I don't think there's an affordable alternative to PIWIS like VAG-COM VCDS is to VAG1552. Kinda always been a bummer, IMO.

You can buy Durametric for Porsche coding but it only works on older models I think

You will need a PIWIS of undetermined type to do coding. I've seen some Chinese PIWIS but would not trust them. I have the Durametric Pro used to reset the oil change & maintenance messages in the Cayenne & Spyder.

The Durametric Software currently supports Porsche models through 2015. Support for newer models will be added with future software updates. However, no timeline for release is yet available.
