I'm happy to read this post, mine is 480 km now and has the same symptoms. I just can't drive that fast or brake that strong, Switzerland is not the country for crazy driving. I hope I can take some time on an nice German highway at full speed!

And I have the same annoying kalnk when I release the brake pedal
It happened around the 800 km for me and yes, it makes a more pleasant driving experience once the braking region is working.

A while ago, someone mentioned bedding the brakes by taking the car up to highway speeds, putting it in neutral to disable regen then braking hard several times. Given the vast differences in when regen starts for various people I expect the trigger is braking time above a specific threshold, so deliberately braking hard a few times may help bring regen into play quicker.
