Replacing the centre console lid

Hi all,

I’ve recently bought the leather centre console lid with the Porsche logo for my 4S.

Whist the new lid seems to go on with only 2 screws(I thought this looks easy), I can’t see any screws on the lid in the car to remove the old lid. No obvious way to remove the old one.....

Has anyone replaced one yet? If so any help would be appreciated!

Did you ever find a way to do this? I'm trying to do the same thing.

The local dealer quoted me $672 in labor to install. They must be tearing the dash apart.
So total $1046 parts and labor (2.5 hours)
