Roof racks only work on pano glass roof option?

Can anyone confirm? Looking at options and seems like you can't spec the aluminum roof and use the racks? Only pano roof works with racks?

I believe only Pano Roof is going to work with Roof Racks. Could be totally wrong on that but I believe this will be the case.

Confirmed, if you want to use a conventional roof rack system you have to have the pano roof.
With the metal roof you could use a sea sucker system however.
The pano roof is a great option though and I think that the difference it makes to the experience inside the car is greater than the cool look of the metal roof.

On another topic do you know of any way to improve satellite reception as the current antenna keeps droping signal when around trees in areas that my other cars are fine with? Aftermarket? Anything?

As mentioned, yes you need the Pano roof for the integrated roof rack. It's really a very good system and probably makes the Pano roof worth it if you ever intend to use a roof rack. This is also true on 911s, FWIW, you have to order either the metal or glass sunroof to get the mounting points.

There are aftermarket options, some very good ones at that, but none are as bulletproof as the Porsche integrated system.

At the moment nothing, but Porsche is working on some way to improve overall cell signal.

I have been told an update might be able to resolve some connectivity issues, but we shall wait and see if Porsche ends up issuing something needed more or not.
