Decided to wrap my turbo s in xpel stealth. When I first picked it up I had second thoughts - the volcano grey metallic looks GREAT in person. BUT thought I’d try something a little different and I’m super happy with the results. Looks great both ways, but the wrap still shows the metallic effect, and the lines of the car are much more noticeable. Hard to tell from pics but I’ll upload some.

Super nice!!
only thing I do not like with a complete wrap, is notably in the doors-jams, and under the hood and trunk.... just does not look very clean.......

Cool.. Looks awesome. What does something like that run US $ wise? Just curious

thanks. I have a guy that comes to my house - has done multiple cars so I get a good price - although still expensive. $5k. If you go through the dealer they tack on another 1-2k...

I called a reputable place in Orlando and the cost of a wrap here would be about $3,000. Add another $500-$1000 for ceramic coating, if wanted. Not too bad. I'm considering yellow stripes on my black Taycan. We'll see.

that's a great price! Just make sure you have a good installer - that's what matters. Send some pics if you do yellow on black - sounds super cool

Stunning look! Great color choice! How about a pre-wrap pic?

Very cool. At the risk of being tacky, what was the cost, and did you have it done by a chain or a local company?

I can post some pre wrap pics but looks like any other volcano grey car... one of the Pics already uploaded above shows an unwrapped part by the trunk with the edge of the wrap.

Awesome, I have a Black 4S on order, I will have to look into doing that. Satin was a great choice. Thanks for being a tester for the rest of us!

That looks great. Super helpful as I have been debating front end PPF with ceramic over everything vs. xpel stealth on the whole car. Can I ask where in Chicago you had it done? That's a great price for the whole car.
