Im just speccing the car for myself, and I had a question.
Can I simply set in my profile for the car to start with Sports Plus always and the electric sound always on, no matter what driving mode.
Is it possible ?

I currently drive a tesla model 3 LR 2021 and its breeze. I just get into the car and its always on sports mode automatically.

So, does the chrono package allow you to keep sports plus and electric sound ON by single button roll ?

Ok.
The dial to SPORTS PLUS it has.
The dial has some specific thing for electric sound too ?
Or electric sound is automatically always on when sports is enabled ?

two clicks to the right for sport plus, don't even need to look at it.
Sounds like you want individual mode, you can set what sport items you want on. We don't have the sport sound so I'm assume that's an option.

When you select Sport+, it turns sports sound on. So, three clicks on a button.
or, you can use one of two diamond buttons (on steering wheel or on the screen) and programme it for sports sound (= one click).
and, 3rd option: individual mode, where you can define driving mode, chasis position, etc….which means four clicks on a button (from Normal, via Sports, Sport+ to Individual mode).

To Porsche software engineers: Make a “Start with previous used mode” button.

That way - if you always drive in one mode, e.g. individual mode, it will leave it in that mode all the time.

Agreed... Strange as Audi has had it this way for years...

Sounds like such an oversight… even in a “basic” T-Roc it stays on the last mode for each driver profile.
Is it Taycan specific or same for all Porsche cars?

With Chrono it's not a big deal to remember the last mode, it takes a fraction of a second to turn the knob on the steering wheel. I thought sports Chrono would be a waist but it is my most used option as I switch modes often. In my Audi RS3 I had to cycle through to dynamic mode every time I started the car via drive mode button which was annoying, Chrono wheel knob is a nice change.

Some regulations forbid the use of such last mode. A car turned on to Sport Mode will consume more energy (or fuel for ICE). It's the same reason why start/stop function can't be always turned off.

This is correct, although it’s not exactly that this is prohibited. When you get an EPA mileage/range rating, the drive mode that is tested in must essentially be a default. Most manufacturers want their best number reflected, so they make one of their more efficient modes their “normal,” even if that’s not what they expect drivers to use on a regular basis.

So, most cars have a “Sport” or similar mode that drives in the manner in which product managers intended. Some cars do find a few ways around it (like Audi) by separating suspension mode and throttle mode. So these cars can remember the last suspension mode but not the throttle mode.

Its automatic with Sport+. That said, if all you wanted to do was toggle sport sound it can be programmed into one of the diamond buttons. The Sport + "easy button" will be the sport chrono dial.
