Doesn't seem like my car make the boat. So don't know what's up now.

Hmm I suppose it's possible TYD hasn't updated - it's just weird they'd move your car to the port right before the boat arrives, and not have it get on the boat

I don't know. Don't want to be too optimistic about it. I think another guy's (Kaytan?) car got on last month boat. But his was sitting at the port for a month too.

Yeah it was Kaytan - was using him as a benchmark for how long the lag time was. If held constant, we both should have been on this boat. That said, I am now hearing cars are being held in the US ports for batteries, so maybe need to start factoring in that wait time too.

But I agree, I don't want to be too optimistic, TYD has already let me down like 3 times

Was hoping to get the car around Thanksgiving and enjoy it through the holiday.
I guess will have to get it at year end or beginning of the year to start the new year hard working.

It still strikes me as odd that your guys cars didn't make it on, particularly Pop's since yours really was only a week later than Kaytan's which made it on the last boat. So effectively they barely had any Taycans on this boat?

I'm still having 5% hope that maybe TYD is lagging and updates EOD today (since it is friday) but probably not...

Yeah, I was little disappointed earlier. The car is at the port a week earlier and not making on the ship.
My friend was telling me he saw few new Taycan on the road. I said how is it possible. They are barely shipping any.

I suspect that the 12V issue may be more severe than we thought and now they are running out of space in the Porsche Werk facility so they have to clear it up by moving cars produced earlier to the port (and leaving them under the sun) to have more room for recently produced vehicles waiting for the 12V battery...

Glovis Sigma is scheduled to leave Emden on 11/01 - kinda matched up with 11/04 in TYD - maybe TYD is accurate all along and we just have too much expectation
