Does anyone know how much a service will be on a Taycan?

Was in my dealer and noted that the basic service plan cost is £2304 incl vat for 2 services over 4yrs/40k miles, rising to £4500 for 3 services over 6yrs/60k miles.

Dealership couldn't tell me the cost of a single service.....apparently Porsche haven't released any details yet?

Sounds too expensive for brake fluid and cabin air filter replacement every 2 years.

That is completely wrong. There must be some mistake! Or the Porsche Centre is taking people for a ride!

If you look at @Tim123 post above you will see the minor service is 300 and the major service is 380 Euros! 2 years and 4 years.

I had an email a while back from my Porsche centre offering a "great deal" on services.

2 services over 4 years for £2,304

2 services over 4 years with MOT for £2,484

3 services over 6 years fora bargain of £4,500!

You do get wiper blades that though :p

I’ll shop around in 2 years time to see what the rates are then.

my fear is that software upgrades/bug fixes will only be provided when you get the car serviced so they can basically charge £1200 for what is a basic check and service.

ps - don’t shoot the messenger!

Keep in mind that EVs require substantially less maintenance than ICE vehicles. Service is the vast majority of profits for dealerships. So dealerships are trying to figure out how to make money in an EV world. Until consumers and Porsche catch on, assume exorbitant up-front service offers will be made to unknowing consumers...

Essentially equivalent to your (DOT) annual vehicle inspection/renewal.
It's a british thing, here in the US only in a few states, even NJ doesn't inspect new cars for around 4 years

Yep - I'm Irish and lived in the UK for a number of years so obviously aware what it is - wasn't referencing new cars :)

So first post here

Took my Taycan turbo in for software update today, it’s 500 miles from 1st service apparently ……. £825

anyone know what gets done for £825 ?

Sounds utterly ridiculous to me, wtf can you service on a ev ?

Also 4 tyres worn to cord on inner edges, alignment clearly out from new

they want average of over £500 per tyre (I can buy same for just over £200) plus £720 for a alignment !

ridiculous prices
