Charging away from home for me is a rarity and with solar and batteries arriving soon cost for a charge will decrease substantially. I think it’s time for people with the space to install solar to move away from the profit gouging corporates, financially it’s a no brainier.

I charged for -32cts kWh yesterday, today it’s -5cts Earning money charging
I avoid public charging as much as possible. Current pricing is rip-off.

Once you have this you should look at moving to an Octopus tariff with cheaper rate overnight. Will probably save you loads, especially if you can charge your solar batteries from the grid in winter when there is no sunlight
