Charger: Zappi v2
Rate: 7.2 kWH
Installation Location: On pillar at my dedicated parking spots in shared underground car park under my apartment
Country: Ireland

The charger requires a PIN to be entered before starting the charge (immediate or timed), protecting the charger within a shared parking environment. The charger is routed back to my existing apartment meter.

Here is mine at four floors below grade. Still waiting for the car though. The charger is Flo, which is made in Canada and very sturdy construction. The box to the right of the charger allows me to disable the charger and lock it. Handy in a shared space just in case. I had to also install a separate meter for my condo. Total cost including legal work with the condo was about $10,500CAD. Ouch!

A photo of the Porsche Home Energy Manager unit and one of the sensors for it. I ordered 6 extra sensors to cover all three phases of the charger, home consumption load and solar panel output. Probably overkill like most things in my life... Overkill should be my middle name !

Hi @Pozuelo , I’m new to this forum. I own a Taycan 4S which I just received Oct 3 2020. I am probably one of the very few having a Porsche Home Energy Manager system within the realms of the USA and its Territory's; as I learned later after I bought it and installed it that this Porsche Home Energy Manager System option is not one available within the USA. That said I have mine installed and “WORKING”, in my case I have 6 Current Sensors (CS’s) or Current Transformers (CT’s) as sometimes they are called. This CS’s are connected to 1-Home 2-Taycan 2020 3-Cayenne Hybrid 2017. What I have Not be able to do is to connect the systems through my House WiFi Network and I would like to know How You did that? Did You used the WiFi antenna ? and if so how where you able to input your Wifi system Password onto the Porsche Home Manager. On the other hand did you instead connect it to your Wifi via hard wired cable instead?
Please help as I am sure that once I get this done I am done. Btw the Cayenne even thought is connected at the Home Energy Manager is only at the CS’s point of contact in order to get consumption read, its Not managing the Cayenne as it cant.
Btw for reference a few pics of my Home Energy Manager as Installed today. Thanks in advance for your help and anyone else on this Matter.

My Home Energy Manager is connected to the home network by Ethernet connection. It also has a direct connection to the PMCC via PLC through the very large section insulated wiring connecting the 130 meters between my utility ‘s company and solar inverter’s access point and the PMCC. Also, the PMCC is connected via WiFi to my home network. But (go figure) they don’t speak thru the home network ! They have the Ethernet and WiFi to be accessible from the internet. Hope this helps somewhat.

Actually, I'd like to know what functions the home manager offers...any way I can look at the manual or feature set? I'm trying to look for it, but without luck

Only have the PDF in Spanish. The multiple different paper manuals are multi-lingual...

the best and simplest way is to google the manual. It will come out in Multi-language instructions, just as the book that comes with it

Outlet swapped to NEMA 14-50 @ 30Amps yesterday. Charged the (new to me) Taycan from 20% to 100% in about 7.5hrs. I'll evaluate whether I want to bump up to 50 Amps over time.
Mounted the charging unit this evening. Ready to roll now!

See you've gone for the Porsche UK Recommendation - Andersen. I'm looking at them too. I don't suppose you could show a picture of the interior of your garage? Hoping for a tidy finish!

@JamieG Had mine fitted Monday, awaiting car now.
The Electrician was on site 6 hours and did an amazing job. I could not have done it neater myself.
He did everything he could to hide the cable.
Not cheap but absolutely worth it and so much better than having cables hanging of a hook at the front of your house. Different if it is in a garage or barn.
