Very noticeable and will now always select that option in any future vehicle (after driving Taycans with and without).Does anyone know how many db sound reduction you get with the acoustic laminated glass? Also how noticable is the noice reduction ?
Quieter at all speeds, even stopped (police siren behind is not so irritating).Interesting to hear. Very noticeable only on highways or even in lower speeds?
Pfff - my BMW E39 5 series had the Doppelverglasung option, they were 7mm thick. They were so heavy that it took almost 5 minutes for the windows to wind upHere is a photo of what it looks like. I was surprised at how thick it is.
I have had quiet cars and this is way quieter at all speeds.
Ha, that's like cabal-grade bulletproof.Pfff - my BMW E39 5 series had the Doppelverglasung option, they were 7mm thick. They were so heavy that it took almost 5 minutes for the windows to wind up
I’m not aware that there is a cell (phone) antenna connection in the car - the wireless charger just charges as I’m informed. Not using Carplay though. It’s by far the car i’ve been in with the most problems in regards to keeping a good connection. A lot of people that I’ve phoned from the car tell me that thay have a hard time hearing what I say - sometimes I nearly have to “shout” ?Anyway have the insulated glass in the Taycan to and it's really quite - but cell reception is affected a bit..
Shouldn't cell reception be through the car antenna on the roof?
I have noticed a definite loss of cell reception, but I figured it was because of the wireless CarPlay dongle.
Not sure about Denmark but in the US there absolutely is.I’m not aware that there is a cell (phone) antenna connection in the car
cool - I haven’t tried to connect via USB C - I’ll give it a go sometimeThis is from my EU Taycan's manual:
It is a little unclear if the external antenna is available if wireless charging and not using a wired USB-C connection.
