If you have Sport Sound in your Taycan - do you use it most of the time?

Maybe we can do an age sub-analysis and see what kind of results we get.

It could be the older crowd may dislike the sound more vs. the younger.

Makes sense given the desire for a quieter atmosphere as we get older.
Will you get off my lawn?!!!

I have a normally aspirated Ferrari with a gated 6 speed ‘box and 3 pedals for enjoying driving and its noise is not something I dislike.

3 pedals?
Why 3rd?

Interesting thread. So much drama lol.

I live in a pretty affluent costal area and there are more Taycans here than Toyotas. I have never even ONCE heard anyone using the fake sound. I don’t have it, don’t regret it and would never use it. And no, I don’t regret leaving it off my build.

I think the votes would be different if the setting remained. Changing it to on or switch to individual each time one starts the car is annoying (even with the sport chrono)

Since we're talking about the sound. Has it to be manually engaged every time you enter the car? Or is it default on in sport mode for example?

It turns on automatically when you are on Sports Plus. On any other driving mode you need to enable it.

When I had the PEC at Silverstone, I felt that the sound took the experience to the next level. Driving around the track and listening to the sound made it feel complete.

However, when I get the car most likely I will forget turning it off, since the shortcut buttons will be used for something else, and driving on Sport Plus will be a rare occasion.

I'm thinking in customising the individual mode to my most regular driving conditions and adding the sound in that mode.

With our roads here, sport plus will be a rare occasion and since someone forgot the "next" button, I'll probably assign it to the steering wheel button
