Steering wheel creaking

For those with a creaking noise in steering wheel, there is a new service bulletin hot off the presses that will address this annoying sound. More felt tape !!
Funny, the loaner vehicle that I received has the same issue.
The passenger seat headrest rattle was resolved my last visit, assuming there is tape in there as well.
My 2007 Targa has not a sound...

It probably depreciated away.

fwiw, the steering wheel on my ‘03 996 creaks when it’s cold. I suspect there is a bushing somewhere in need of lubrication. No such issue on the Taycan.

There was a bulletin on this years ago, had it fixed at dealer ( they remove wheel, place adhesive and re install)
2 years, no creaks...

And the headrest rattle? I have that as well. Pretty annoying. Although it makes me stop accellerating, so might save my licence one day. Great to at least know the solution just so I can fix it if I choose to.

If your headrests are in the forward position, to stop rattles, push them all the way back. Or leave them as is for the sake of your licence.

haha thanks. I have the rattle in either position. It is almost never in the forward position. It also functions a bit crappy, I have to press the button few times for it to adjust. Will ask about it when it goes to dealer for the brakes later this month.
