Swap TPMS from 20" to 21" or buy new TPMS?

I'm picking my car up on Saturday and will be swapping the 20" turbo aero wheels over to 21" Exclusive wheels.

Just spoke to a local tyre fitter asking if he could swap the TPMS over from the 20" to 21", he said they would need new TPMS as the seals on them can break. I have read others swap them over, so I just think he is not confident in doing so and therefore I should take them somewhere else.

Said he would charge £20 a wheel to fit a new set of TPMS (supplied be me) and then fit them on the car. He said they would need balancing again.

Anyone have any experience on this? Is it okay to swap the TPMS over or should I just buy a new set. I have had a look online and I think I can get a set for around £140 delivered.

I will be selling the turbo aero wheels so wasn't really bothered if they had them or not.

Should be able to switch them over without needing new sensors. You definitely need to balance wheels but you don’t need new sensors.
