Swapped 2020 Volcano Grey for 2021 White

I have to say that while my 2021 Turbo S is hands down in my opinion much more aggressive looking than my previous volcano grey 2020 Turbo S, I miss the Burmester sound system! That’s the only thing I wish my 2021 had but I was much more particular about wanting chalk / white leather interior.

I went ahead with the black 911 Turbo S emblem, etc.

Standard white, my wife has Carrera white on her Cayenne Turbo and I wanted something a little different

Looks great! The Mission E spec never gets old.

Volcano Gray is more subdued. I would even call it a sleeper. White is more aggressive and will get more attention—for better or worse ?

I too have a MY20 Volcano Gray with same wheels as yours (and same clear side markers). I had never liked white cars until the Taycan. Good for you!

May I ask why you made the switch? I love both colors and having a hard time deciding

I had some separate issues with MY20 Turbo S like transmission clunking, charging issues, PCM freezing up, etc. Dealership was amazing at rebooting and reinstalling software, replacing modules, you name it and finally after test driving a few other Turbo S models and none of them having these issues I decided to just move on.

I always had regrets about buying grey over white so that also came into play.

I also have a 2020 Volcano grey and will likely get a white Taycan next time around. I don’t usually like white cars, but the color looks great on the Taycan.
