We just traded a Raven S (refresh) MS LR+ and experienced real life range consistent to about 330 or about 20% less than advertised.
My wife and I went for a quick ride for breakfast yesterday (about 9 miles round trip). We left with 232 mile range and returned with 244. I’m guessing the computer is just calibrating based on usage. My wife drove with regen in auto and she wouldn’t be considered an EV friendly driver—especially now. I left for the office this morning and said just don’t get any speeding tickets.

Average speed too low. Car was switched on using power, but actually didn't go anywhere... 200 h for just 2k miles???
The car is rarely switched on but not moving (outside of the few moments it takes to put my seatbelt on and put into drive).

100% battery range is estimated at 170 miles

The very best consumption I’ve ever had was 34.1 kWh/100mi.

Here are some examples of trips:

You must be a very dynamic driver: 52.6 kWh/100 mi over 39 miles...

Yep, that’s the kind of response I get from Porsche. No matter how serenely I drive I can’t get this consumption down.

25.4 kwh/100 miles - lifetime consumptions after about 9800 miles and one year of ownership.

I have done a lot of small trips (100 miles round trips) and highway driving, rest is local stuff.

I live in Northern California, and so "cold" here is a morning drive when it may be as low at 45. Summers can be a bit hot - today is mid 90s.

I am not hypermiling or anything, and when my wife is driving with me, she likes the car cool at around 68.

Took a 170 mile round trip on Saturday. 82F, range mode, AC eco mode set to 70 and cooled seats on. Left at 100% SOC, returned at 48%.

I'm getting right at 267 miles in Normal mode with air-conditioning set at 70 degrees and speeds up to 85mph without the battery plus option. Next trip I'm going to try Range mode and I'm hopeful of getting close to 280 miles on a single charge.

I really don't understand how your consumption can be so high. Do you have any recup? Do you see the green bar when you break?

Here are short trips where I have higher consumption with lower average speed than you. It's super hot here and my AC runs on 25°C Eco mode with outside temp over 30°C.

Exactly the same drive. But with different consumption due to driving style.

Looked again. I am amazed, that you drive just 39 miles in over 2.5 hours? Countrysides no road at all? 100 traffic lights which take an hour? Stuck in rush hour? If you then run the AC consumption goes up!

thanks so much for this its super helpful. The first few miles of my trips always start with ridiculously high consumption but I assume this is because I use air con and the car is conditioning.

So to be clear, in both of your examples above you were using eco plus air conditioning?

I will try that and see how it goes. I’m planning on doing some thorough tests today.

My consumption is also always super high to start out trips of any length. Not sure why, I just assumed it was some bad calibration that needs some miles to average it out.

For a moment I thought @legataycan 's high initial consumption might be due to not having the heat pump, but those are standard in the US and @submatrix has it too. It therefore is a matter of the initial measurements still looking for proper calibration?
