Finansavisen has tested Taycan 4S from Nesøya to Gudbrandsgard Hotell on Kvitfjell. This was a 260km trip with about 700m elevation. Including city, highway and country roads. Starting at 98% and arriving with 24% battery.

This looks really promising. My Tesla 3 performance has about 0-10% left on a trip from Ski to Flendalen in Trysil. The trip is 260km with about 650m elevation. I usually stop and charge my Tesla due to the low state of charge on arrival.

That's equivalent to a full range of 218 miles. Not bad. I'm assuming that typical summer range on the 4S may be 250 miles or better for local commuting purposes.

Without the elevation it should be a lot more. Note, this was driving from sea-level to about the hight where the trees stop growing, 800 m (2600 feet) height above sea level.

Has English subtitles. They did a test Taycan Turbo and M3 on German Autobahn in winter 7° C (45° F) driving 150km/h (93 mph). Almost same range:

M3 EPA 523km (331 miles) - test result 332km (206 miles)
TT EPA 323km (201 miles) - test 314km (195 miles)

This was a Taycan Turbo vs M3 Long range RWD.
My bet is if you test a Taycan 4S vs M3 Performance the results would be equal or might even favour the Taycan.
