Taycan 4S Spoiler Deployed Speed

Hi Guys,

First post here.

Today i drove past a Taycan RWD around 75MPH he was doing 70-ish, I noticed his rear spolier was right up, how is this possible ?

Would it be right up if he was in Sport + mode or something?

Ok so when I am driving at 70mph the spoiler is raised? I assume there is 3 different heights?

Yes it is raised. There is also a function to raise it slightly when parked called 'cleaning mode'.
It's in the vehicle settings.

Thanks, I assume theres no way to just keep it raised all the time?

It's so sad that we will never be able to see our own raised spoilers (unless in the subpar cleaning mode).

It'll be raised while we're driving, and then once we're stopped, it'll be gone, like tears in the rain.

I tried range mode once and noticed an indicator on the instrument cluster that showed it was raised. Haven't ever seen that in normal mode, or maybe I just haven't noticed. I think it may deploy sooner in range mode.

You just need to drive 124 MPH past a camera...

In sport+ it goes to stage 3 (max height) at 90kmh, and it won't go down until you're under 65kmh. It might drop height between 90 and 65, but it won't go all the way down.

I’ve seen deployed spoilers that ICE drivers wouldn’t believe.

I have seen this before but it's not consistent with my observations of the indicator on the instrument panel:

1. I have never driven past 180km/h
2. I have only seen the indicator light up in cleaning mode / range mode and sport plus mode.
3. The indicator lights up whenever I reach 90km/h in range and sport mode.

It’s raised in sport and sport+ it shows on the instrument cluster when its raised right next to ride height icon. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t raise in normal or range mode. That’s raised about at 60mph.
