A lot
The original Mission-E was apparently 485cm, the Taycan has an extended back bumper that easily adds 8-10cm, making it close to the E-tron GT (496cm) which is its twin. The First gen Panamera was only 1cm longer at 497cm. It doesnt look it's apparent size though I give you that.

Mmmm. I already think 911s have gotten too big. This is definitely a big car.
I’ll have to see it in person. I just do *NOT* like the
look of the panamera.
The Taycan looks like it has some bulk that might help balance it out and look more car-like.

Only a few more days I suppose!

Agree with you on the 992s - I think the 991s are big (well, compared to my 997.2). I was at my local dealer on Friday and walked around a couple of new Panameras and they’re not as big is person as I had thought. That said, still a bit too big for me and hoping the Taycan truly fits in the middle. I need enough room for my teens in the backseats but today’s Panny is just too big for me.

From the picture, given that the 911 is 52-54cm shorter than the 2nd gen Panamera, it would appear that the Taycan is about 15cm shorter than the Panamera. That would put its length within a few cm of the 485cm quoted for the Mission E.

Hey, I got my own thread!

Well yes I am aware of this picture but based on that profile 1/3 unit towards Panamera 2/3 unit towards 911 the length should come in around 487cm.

However, the bumper profile looks to be that of the Mission E, not the Taycan so I'm stilk expecting the Taycan to come in around the length of the E-tron GT (~495cm) or best case a few cm shorter.

I guess I was right about the dimensions. At 496 x 197 it has a larger footprint than the first gen. Panamera, just sleeker.

Here's hoping they'll create a more compact sedan or a sleeker Macan coupe further down the road.

I know this Picture. It's from a old Porsche presentation from last year. The Overall flyline is from the Mission E and not the Taycan production car.

Kind regards
