Can you add Taycan GTS Sport Sound file to other models?

Does anyone know if you can add the GTS Sport Sound file to another Taycan, I have a Turbo and my business partner has the GTS and I much prefer the sound of his car

I would really like the option of customised sounds and not just a GTS. Imagine if you could choose any car from their range. I would happily pay a one-off fee for this.

The GTS has a GTS-specific version of the sport sound, I believe.

Yes I'm aware the GTS has it's own unique sound, I'm asking if anyone has managed to get that sound file onto another non GTS Taycan

Right but since it's a version specific feature I wouldn't expect it to be portable.

How does it differ? Love my sport sound but think it def needs dialling up a notch or two!

Would indeed be something I'd spec in, if there were 2 or 3 sounds to choose from, for a reasonable fee - of course Porsche are good at charging for everything and anything!

It’s not a soundfile, it’s realtime synthesized algo, a virtual instrument. So at best it would be a preset patch (a combination of settings containing, pitch, slope, volume etc) someone who does Linux and could access PCM via terminal could probably find it in a folder somewhere.

Where did you get your information that the Taycan runs Linux? On which ECUs?

If it ran Linux, I would be pretty happy about it not gonna lie but... If it's running it, it certainly isn't in the UX or people wouldn't need to "2 finger it" to restart, etc.

QNX is the most prevalent high level OS in automotive. There is also SafeRTOS, and some proprietary OS'es and hypervisors.

My guess is that's it's in a rom on the ESS module.
