in a January 2022, I bought my 2020.5 Taycan Turbo, loaded, used at a dealership in Cleveland for $145,000 including a new set of tires and Certified Preowned 24-month warranty (which included the $859 20,000 mandatory service) with 21,000 miles on it.

They contacted me to ask if I would like to sell it for $165,000. I said no.

The guy who bought it new in 2020 paid $214,000 plus tax!!!

Well, that's pretty obvious.
I wouldn't buy such a new technology car from an "untrusted" seller either.
Especially when it has low mileage (buyer: maybe there's something wrong?) and such a high price.

Buying at a dealer you have much more confidence and the warranty (ok, it's on the car but still..).

forgot to mention that I tried to sell it through my dealership … it took them another 3 months to sell it

The G class Merc being is such demand shows how the car market is just as much a fashion business as anything!

Is that the list Merc was looking at and decided to increase their prices?
