Taycan on ship that had an engine fire

Hi All,

I ordered a Taycan and it was shipped. The ship it was on experienced an engine fire (in port) which damaged both the ship's engine and air conditioning.

My Taycan has been taken off and put on a different ship for delivery.

Should I be concerned about accepting delivery of the Taycan ? What are your thoughts/suggestions ?

It doesn't sound like any cargo (incl your car) was damaged. I wouldn't worry... but maybe I'd look with a little more attention for melted plastic bits at delivery just in case

Yes, you should be concerned. Make sure they didn’t swap the burnt-out ship engine for one of your electric motors.
