Aside from this being extremely frustrating this should also serve as a security warning.
Today, Sunday, Porsche decided to remove my Taycan from the app, disconnect all of the services and move my account to an old email address without a request from me or confirmation. Seems they thought that since I had prior vehicles on an old email address THEY decided it would be better to move my account.
Now I’m told that I will have to log in, update the account and log in under a new account in my car. Maybe my services will be restored but for sure all settings lost. And since it’s Sunday I have the pleasure of waiting.
Interesting that Porsche does not have better security in place. I accessed my app this morning, my car was erased and received an email telling me to add my vehicle, prove ownership, etc. I’ve owned the car for 7 months.
