Man, as I've said before it's a colour clash disaster. The FB paint looks good in the photo but over saturated (why would that be??) and nothing like real life.

Red interior is way too bright.

Don't do it.

I saw FBM in real life and posted pictures, so I'm pairing this with the black partial leather. Not going for the Bordeaux Red leather interior, but my father was upset as he loves red interiors and chrome ?

I think I'm happy with the build spec, most important big tickets items have been selected. I'm gonna sleep on any final low cost vanity options.

I did get the Neodyme pack, not seen it but why not. Even I pulled out of the red interior eventually and went black.....maybe I will be a Grey car guy in a few years after all.......does it come to us all?

Yeah I've seen photos of someone's Taycan where they went for the Santa Sled option of Mamba Green with the red interior. I'd imagine that would make resale pretty difficult.

Useful thread, as I am in same position. Off to the dealers today to see things in the flesh.

I started with Frozen Blue, went through black/red/silver/dark blue and settled on Ice Grey. Colour is very personal and lots of different reasons why people choose a particular colour. So no comment on that.

Happy with standard interior in black or grey (as long as pano roof specced).

Having to choose carefully, as budget is limited.

Major things I definitely want...

Performance battery plus
Pano Roof
20 Turbo Aero wheels (also like Sport Aero wheels)
150kw DC charger

Major things I've changed after thought....

Dropped sport chrono and added air suspension.

Dropped Park Assist (rear cam) and added Park Assist (surround)

Minor must haves....

Storeage pack
Folding mirrors (let's me know its locked!)
Memory pack (for reversing mirror tilt)
Privacy glass (looks better) / sunstrip

Things dropped to keep on budget...

Ambient lighting
Bose
Electric port cover
Electric Sport sound


Few other bits and bobs, but generally happy with this now.

@Fish Fingers when you'll see it, you'll have a much better idea of what you want or don't want. However, there are key must-have options before you get into vanity options to customise it for yourself. Good luck at the dealership.

That's the conclusion I have come to. Things have been dropped to make way for things that are necessary/useful.

Test drive today as well.... So looking forward to it!

When did you first order the car?

My dealer said yesterday that delivery dates are now uncertain.
They were previously hoping July.

They also said there has been very strong demand for the RWD and people ordering now are being told possibly next year.
