Such an immense joy to follow you guys along on that road trip. Very inspiring. My Taycan is on its way to Emden so it will be a few more weeks until it arrives here. In the meantime, it's impressive to read about your meticulous planning and I'm so glad I'm reading all of this before embarking on my own first EV roadtrip when the time comes.

Day 10: Narvik (Norway) -> Aurora Borealis Observatory (Norway)
We popped down to ground level of the hotel, our car parked in the hotels dedicated EV parking spot and was fully charged.
Not the longest trip today but we are staying in a self-catering cabin for the next two days, so getting some supplies was our first order of business.
But, what a view!
With sunset around 16.00 at this latitude it was time to continue north along the ubiquitous E6.
With the roads quiet we stopped for a few photography shots.
Admiring the serene wilderness.
And the automated weather stations that provided us with such valuable camera footage during our planning phase.
We read about the Battle of Narvik in 1940.
Arriving at the rather grandly named Aurora Borealis Observatory on Senja island well before nightfall. What they are though – is a collection of cosy apartments and cottages with large windows useful for watching the sky.
We found an outside socket – and for the first time on this trip – used our portable EVSE – Juice Booster 2 – to plug in the car.
As we didn't need the car early tomorrow and we didn't want to blow any fuses – we set the charger to only supply power at 2.5 kW.
Returning back to our cottage – it feels good to get out of the minus six degrees cold.
And set up the Leica to start watching for the Northern Lights.
Our view of the sky.
Now we wait.
We are here all tomorrow – our only two day stop on this trip.
The days charging stats:
Today we did 155 km over 3:12 hours, with an average speed of 48 km/h, consuming 23.1 kWh/100km.

It's interesting to see that despite pushing landscape photos of our journey north.
Its the pictures with the car that gets the most traction.
Conclusion: People like to see Taycan's doing things!

If not already in your plans, you should consider on the way back to pass the Atlantic Ocean Road being one of the most scenic and spectacular roads in the world. We are considering a similar road trip from the south east of Sweden along the east coast of Sweden up to Kiruna, Abisko and then cross over to Narvik and south bound driving through Lofoten, etc. However during a less challenging season - spring or early autumn.
