I'm trying to gather Taycan and E-Tron GT owners in Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire to have Redshift in California do the horse power upgrade for us. Its a 1 hour process and we are thinking the weekend of 2/24/24, 2/25/24

What are the effects on warranty, and is the RWD PB+ model eligible?
Doesn't affect warranty, not detectable when dealer scans, all battery and motor protections stay in place
RWD will at least give you al the of the power without being in launch control

Is it reversible? My lease runs out in a year and would ideally return to dealer in ‘factory’ spec

Whoa. I had no idea there was a service for this in the Bay Area.

How is warranty not affected? For example, lets say something happens to the motor/battery, then dealer/Porsche NA checks logs and sees overboost power duration being held longer than what is normally seen.

Ive had this at the dealer and my Service advisor works with tuned cars. The issue happens when its scanned and a mod is detected, that's when the warranty claims are denied.
This mod in the ASG unit is not detected

If you are in the Bay, its an easy tune for you

You can send it to them but it costs way more than the one in San Francisco https://www.hgp-turbo.de/audi-e-tron-gt-rs.html

These are both very expensive for what seems to be just a software flash.

I did this and I wouldn't recommend it.
The same same program and better to have them flash it in an hour. That's why we are trying to do a group upgrade

From experience, That video is very inaccurate.

oh geez, looks like I know my birthday gift..this is so tempting...so tempting....
I believe 4s hers even more power to the front motor compared to the Turbo

Are you sure about RWD all-time LC power? (which would be awesome if true). I had checked their website previously and they seemed to list only Taycan 4 and above.

One thing that I wonder is this: the launch control power is normally only available when the car is above a certain SOH and battery temperature. The reason is the battery voltage fluctuations, which drops to 600sh volts from 800s when SOCs is low and higher power simply becomes not available given a certain current ceiling. Wondering how the tune handles this. If it simply makes the LC power "unavailable" at times of low battery voltage, it is great.

The ASG unit controls power to and from the HV battery. It unlocks all the power in every other variant so I can't see why I wouldn't for the RWD.

You can email them to ask just to be certain.

I can speak for my car which is basically a Taycan Turbo. The temperature doesn't matter, but over 80% SOC you get max power, 25% and under you get 75% power and drops as the SOC goes lower level.
