And the Taycan was starting the drag races with only 55% state of charge and he said losing about 2% per launch and he did several. His last timings were down at 37%.

Yeah this race was disappointing coming from the DragTImes video where he made the effort to ensure 100% charge and saw 10.3-10.4s which would have easily beaten the Senna.

Yeah. I also noticed in the DragTimes video, the driver had PSM sport mode activated while Schmee just had PSM on. Does this make much of a difference in launch times?

Launch control only works in Sport or Sport+ modes. I thought I heard him mentioning Sport+ as it lowers the car.

Hey Ron, I was actually talking about "PSM Sport" . You achieve this by holding the traction button for a few seconds as you can see it turns red on the top right. Refer to my pink arrow

Ahh, disable traction control. Sorry for my ignorance on Porsche terms Kevin.

But my read is that you engage PSM sport by a quick press of that button, holding the button for two seconds actually disables PSM.

I really enjoyed reading the advantage of enabling PSM sport if you have the sport Chrono package.

Agree. The car started at 55% and ended at 37% so likely most of the comparo was done at less than 50% charge, which will reduce the power. The 10.87 he got at the end indicates significantly reduced power. Too bad someone didn't tell him about the charge/power curve.

And I just have to say it again. The Senna interior looks about as good as my racecar, which is not good...really bad.
