Tesla Destination Chargers w/J1772 plugs galore

Just got back from my local Miramar Outlet Mall/ Bonita Springs, Fl. They have installed 12 Tesla Superchargers, which was interesting, but what really was a surprise was that they also installed 12 Tesla Destination chargers with J1772 plugs standard. No adapters needed. Needles to say, this is a welcome direction from vendors and Tesla providing the J1772 option.

Chargers are free to shoppers at the moment.

awesome - CCS is the DCFast charging standard - those charger are NOT CCS chargers/plugs…

those plugs are J-1772 L2/AC charging north american standard for EV charging - Tesla Wall Chargers (what is shown here) and Tesla UMC chargers (the mobile chargers available for Tesla) _ARE_ J-1772 based EVSE's with the wrong shaped plug - this is why the TeslaTap works - there is actually nothing to do - it just physically changes one plug shape into another plug shape - the wires/connects are all "pass through".

this assertion is proven by this picture - since these are Tesla EVSE's with a J-1772 plug slapped onto the end of the cable - essentially a "fixed" TeslaTap.
