Intersting to see. Hope this trial will be a success and further roll out can happen quickly.

On the pricing side as indicated in the second link, that pricing seems about the same as for a Taycan with the Porsche Charging service, using a network outside of Ionity!! So very aligned with Porsche Charges. 0.57 Euro per kWh aligns with my experience with ENBW and also BP/Aral/ Pulse network on a recent trip. The average cost there came to 0.54 Euro per kWh.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Tesla cables are very short, limiting where Taycans can charge. In the U.S. there are about 5 general Tesla charger station layouts. Some layouts will work fine (pull-through chargers and some others); many won't reach. It will be interesting to see if the Tesla adapters in the U.S. will add some cable length (at the possible expense of derated output).

It wouldn't be a big deal if the Electrify America stations actually functioned properly...

Perhaps a short extender cable could work to make Tesla cables reach?

If I could be bothered, I would order some to be made in China - and sell em on Amazon.

Saw this on the Dutch Tesla site. Indeed a search button for superchargers for non Tesla’s (Niet-Tesla’s).

It says in the disproportion that the supercharger can be used by non Tesla vehicles with a CCS plug. 250 kw max

would be really good to have extra chargers for a road trip during holidays.

not in the UK - it's an extra - but it's not expensive (£294) - unlike the 22kw AC charger (that is expensive!)

For now the Tesla site only shows SC in The Netherlands.

yes if you read the article they have opened 10 Netherland SC sites for a pilot program - this is logical and will give them valuable feedback before they start making it available on a wider scale…

this makes perfect sense - start small and grow from there and experience…
