Digging around to try and answer my own question. Taycan in Japan is limited to 400V charging. It is therefore capable of 150 kW rate if the optional DC charger is installed.
However, though "modern" CHAdeMO is technically capable of 100 kW charging, the available charging networks in Japan are mostly limited to 50kW.
Making charging a Taycan from 5% to 80% a 93 minute affair.
800V charging rates are limited to CCS connector.
TIL. I had no clue Japan had it this bad.
