JDapter gets "the nod" because they make an 80 amp version - to my Knowledge TeslaTap does not have an 80 amp version
and when charging my Taycan at a 48 amp Tesla L2 charger (60 amp break) the 40 amp TeslaTap did get noticibiliy warmer to the touch than the 80 amp adapter - you want to run equipment rated for the sorts of loads these EV charging systems can place on equipment - so best practice in this case is the 80 amp version rather than the 40 amp version.
