Thinking of upgrading the 4S to a Turbo or Turbo S

One question, does your Turbo S have the PDCC option ?

it unfortunately doesn’t have the PDCC option and actually thinking of getting a new TS for next year with the options and colour / interior I really want as didn’t get to spec my last Two myself

So the Turbo S discussed way back in this thread has made it to Ireland. Right on the estimated date when I placed the order in April 2022, which I was impressed with considering all the supply chain challenges in the meantime.



The wheels came with the Pirelli tyre option – so I'll be on that brand for both my summer and winter tyres.

As we'll be heading to the arctic in this car shortly after collection – we'll be picking it up wearing its winter shoes.



Confirmed that the car has all of its specified parts and configuration, including the elusive Bose stereo option.



Interestingly, before its had its PDI, this right-hand drive car comes configured in UK units rather then the more usual metric kilometres that Ireland uses.



Due to registration patterns in Ireland, I won't be collecting it until first week in new year.

Oh and its delivery to the dealer SOC% was 22%.

No panoramic roof on this one – but I didn't have it on my 4S either! Though 95% of Taycan's sold in Ireland do have the glass roof – I've always preferred the look of the car without it.

Defo not sure if I'll miss the Burmester either – time will tell – but I do think the BOSE in the Taycan is among the best BOSE units that Porsche has used. I'm not too worried.

I did end up speccing PDCC on the Turbo S – mostly because I've always had it on any Porsche I've owned and the Turbo S already has the other "performance options" as standard. I suspect it isn't a "must have" but was worried that I am used to the feeling of the car with PDCC that I might miss it.
