Thought I'd compile my findings in one place to help save someone a lot of money. My dealership wanted over $1,000+tax for 4 TPMS sensors (parts only!). I'm not sure how that math adds up as the MSRP isn't even that high.

Sensor - 9J1907275B x4
Sensor Bolt - PAF009379 x4
Valve Stem - 9P1601361E (I believe this is black) x4
Total = $699.60 in MSRP for 4 of each

Or you can buy the exact OEM sensor (made by Huf). The sensors are black and you can get silver, black or gunmetal valve stems:

Alternatively, you can buy the same sensor in orange (they are a universal but pre-programmed from the factory to the correct 433 mhz), made by Huf (OEM manufacturer). You can also get the silver, black or gunmetal valve stems.

Whenever replacing tires, wheels, etc. (basically if you dismount the tires), I highly suggest cheap insurance and buying new valve stems. Why? Because the rubber seats to the initial form and if you change things up, you could potentially not get a good of a seal. Rubber also degrades over time.

I recommend only getting the orange ones because they will function exactly the same and save you money! Same OEM quality.

And the relearn procedure is easy, you don't need codes off the sensors, need to reprogram, go to the dealer, etc. that I've seen posted.

There are certain TPMS that do require a (Autel TPMS relearn tool for example on my Toyota), but not the Porsche Taycan. These are the sensors for 2020 and 2021 Taycan's.

I ordered the generic orange TPMS sensors from tpmsdirect.com and they worked great. Set the PCM to learn a second tire set and after a few minutes of driving, the car picked up all corners.

$130 bucks way better than the $500 for OE.

Why do you need to change them? I've never had to on any of my other cars from memory.

It is not uncommon for dealerships to charge a premium for parts and services, as they need to cover their overhead costs and make a profit. If you're looking to save money, you can try purchasing the TPMS sensors from an independent auto parts store or online retailer, where you may be able to find better deals. Just make sure you're buying high-quality sensors that are compatible with your vehicle and have the necessary certifications.

I have used TPMS.com 3x (2x Audi and 1x BMW) in the past. No issues and car recognized the sensors immediately. Nicely priced and shipped quick too!
