I had assumed I would be back with front tires ready for change because I had changed the previous ones with 17k kms. However after 17k kms with these there must be enough tread for 4-5k kms left on them. The rears I changed before departure, have about over half the tread left, so also better than I expected. The explanation I have surmised, is that since we drove about 80% of the trip on highways and the rest on relatively uncongested roads, the acceleration and braking was limited compared to my usual mix of urban, suburban, twisty roads and highways. What are your thoughts and experiences ?

I am actually quite surprised how well my GoodYear F1’s have lasted. They have covered 24000 km by now and still have another 4 or 5000 km on them. rears are perhaps a little less. 21 inch wheels.

The Good years have done two trips with 7500 km each and latest trip with 4000 km. I think it is as you say that long motorway driving seem easier on the tyres.

I just hope that Michelin will release the NFO version for the PS4S!!!

I also wish that Michelin had 21” NFO’s for the Taycan… was better in my view than anything else.
