Hopefully I don’t get too many more dings but I’m leaning towards your advice to let it be. I love this car as my daily driver and don’t plan on getting rid of it for at least 5 years.
All the more reason to fix it.

I have my MB for 12 years. Looking close at my driver's door, I could count 27 scratches from supermarket dings on the parking lot. Imagine painting the door 27 times. After a while you just live with it. One day I might have it painted if it becomes unbearable or if I get a major ding. It's just part of ownership.

Like we use to say around here, the first ding hurts the most. Then it becomes part of life. I have the car repaired from dings once a year. Usually the rear bumper 🤣

Me thinks you could get by just doing the painted front...
Hrm....I have the turbo rear bumper spoiler and wrapped the primered piece in carbon fiber, but thinking of color matching the front instead of wrapping it in carbon.

I think color match front is bolder for sure.
How did the carbon fiber wrap rear turn out? any pics?

I'd 100% spend the $280 (plus tax etc.) to get a brand new front spoiler - which seems to be part number 9J1807541AOK1 . Is this the least expensive Porsche body part ever or what?
Wow! you know if this affordable OE replacement could be sanded and painted?

That front lip takes a beating and is relaceable textured plastic for a reason.

Painting it is just asking for chips imo.

agree. my new car was no longer a new car the moment I drove off the lot. I am sure there are little injuries on it somewhere if I look close enough. So, I don't.
I got a small rock ding on the hood on the way home from the dealer. Dings happen. *sigh. (Luckily, I have PPF on the hood and and didn't penetrate, but you can see a small spot on the PPF)

If you want to paint it, I would just get the Turbo replacement/conversion kit (whatever you want to call it). @DerekS is absolutely correct, paint would be very vulnerable, and the Turbo kit has paint in the right parts of the lip to help keep it looking good longer. I would still PPF the painted parts, however.

Try to gently hit it with a heat gun? Will in no way repair it but that type of plastic will want to go back to its original shape and might be less noticeable. Worst case scenario you melt it, you were looking to replace it anyway. Nothing to loose really!

Assuming that's predicted the wrong word there....and it should be 'heat'? 😄
