Lol, Ford Ka? Fiat Barchetta? and that's just on the first row, I don't think this vid would be a good use of time. One of those "2hrs of logs burning" would at least have some therapeutic value.

I've not driven the Barchetta, but the Ka sold in massive numbers and had a great chassis, as did the Puma. Good fun little cars. Like the Up GTI. Not every car has to cost a fortune to be a great car

No doubt. But it’s a bold claim to include these in the “best of 30 years” - that’s basically all of modern motoring.
I guess I’ll give it a watch, and prepare to be disappointed. (Although I am a massive fan of British motoring press.)

(And thanks for the correction - I knew that wasn’t a Ka, but for the life of me I couldn’t recall ‘Puma’; I guess it didn’t feature in enough “clever”, graphic ads.)

Ha yes. The Puma really does have a great chassis, it really is quite excellent. They’re a blast.

They’re not coming at this as just the best handling or driving cars, so I guess some of the entries do seem pretty weird. The fact they have never made another Porsche COTY before makes you wonder which rock they’ve been under tbh. But, opinions are opinions I guess

I agree. It is the only non-PTS colour left I would choose.

What makes them the “best” 30 is that each of them won car of the year in one of the 30 years the magazine has been published.
Thats all, not a new assessment.
The car of the year is chosen using several parameters, not all sporting or status symbol related.
