I was impressed by these numbers after 42,000 km – 32,000 km on the tyres (10,000 km on my winters) on my 4S.

The thread remaining figures are in mm – new is usually 8 or 9 mm and legal minimum in EU is 1.6 mm – so these tyres are just over 50% worn after 32,000 km. The wear is also even across the tyre with the rears surprisingly being slightly healthier than the fronts – considering its a rear bias car.

The brake pad wear is equally impressive at 90% and 80% respectively – showing the benefits of regenerative breaking in EVs. They'll be good for 150,000+ km!

May I ask about your driving style? Do you drive mostly in sport or normal?
Mostly normal, but I'm not afraid to push the accelerator on mountain roads when conditions allow. These tyres would also have seen plenty of 250km/h autobahn runs.

They are Michelin Pilot Sport 4 NF0 at the sizes mentioned on the report. These are the tyres the car came from the factory with.

It is probably even better than you think. I checked the tread on mine when new (day 1) and they only have 7mm. So you have used less rubber than you thought

The factory Ventus S1 Evo on the T-Roc melted from 8-9mm to 2mm in about 8k miles 🥶

Usually not exceeding 12kmi on heavy SUVs… very impressed by the 4S / Michelin!

that's excellent mileage on the tyres, I was on the legal minimum wear bands at 20k kms, Pirellis from the factory. New tyres were only 7mm, rather than 8mm, seems to be a Porsche thing,

Excellent numbers, really very promising - hope to achieve something similar (same rims and tires as yours).

I presume you used the tyre pressure suggested by the car itself, or did you find reason to deviate?

I keep my pressures at exactly the bar recommended in the Taycan Manual. I use the half-load values as I rarely have more than two in the car.
