The speed is obvious but we need to know the handling. It's supposed be next level but others say it's not so impressiveThe G's mean very little to me and the drag times - meh
But the Sapphire is supposed to be excellent cornering and feel. Would be interesting to drive one
I was thinking the same but there is no way it would have been that close without Push to Pass.Did not see either driver press the push-to-pass after the U-turn.
i was watching their hands and did not see them pressing the button--since it is such a novelty, why would they remember it?I was thinking the same but there is no way it would have been that close without Push to Pass.
Also when did they use it? Right out of the corner?
Of course there shouldn't even be a push to pass IMO
He mentiones he will use it at the 2:58 mark.i was watching their hands and did not see them pressing the button--since it is such a novelty, why would they remember it?
i have to come clean and admit that i watch these youtube car-race videos usually with mute on-you have seen one, you seen them all--is my thinking here.He mentiones he will use it at the 2:58 mark.
It wouldn't be close if it wasn't use though
Perhaps Push-To-Pass is not enabled in Sport Plus. The IC display shows "Attack Mode" where it usually says "Push-to-Pass", so perhaps only the wheel paddles are enabled.Did not see either driver press the push-to-pass after the U-turn.
It helps in repeatable track times, so you don't end up accidentally engaging boost more, overheating your drive-train (battery and/or motors) in a non-optimal portion of the track, then further by having to brake harder, then have no boost available where it would be most beneficial. Push to Pass or Attack Mode let you enable boost mode at precisely the spot you want them for optimal track performance - much more reliable with a button or a paddle than from inference based on accelerator position.Of course there shouldn't even be a push to pass IMO
As someone looking at both of these cars, the first order of business for me would be to get @redshift-performance to upgrade the car to 1092hp full time to completely bypass the Push to Pass.Would someone please explain to me when you would use 'push to pass' on a Turbo GT???
Is tracking the Taycan even a use case?It helps in repeatable track times, so you don't end up accidentally engaging boost more, overheating your drive-train (battery and/or motors) in a non-optimal portion of the track, then further by having to brake harder, then have no boost available where it would be most beneficial.
