UK GTS ST Update - latest

Porsche Leicester have just informed me they are "still awaiting allocations" and that I'm 10th on the list.

If we assume two allocations a month from... September (guess), then my build should start Jan 2023, with delivery around March/April... Which was in line with what the dealer prediction was.

If it's one allocation a month then late summer 2023.

That bargain second hand Peugeot e208 is looking ever more tempting.

So 4-5 weeks after me. This is horrendous! I really dont know if I can wait another year potentially.

Yeh, my issue isn't so much the wait it is more my living arrangements. I'm spending an increasing amount of time living and working abroad.

Returned to the UK this week and miss it even less. I find the UK very negative. The week I return, there's yet more politicof*ckwittery going on - that will drag on for decades - and is going to seriously hurt the UK economy and prosperity.

There's a higher standard of living and less childish, low IQ and pathetic political infighting in many other countries.

That might be the sole reason for cancelling my order as I won't be spending enough time in the UK to enjoy my Taycan.

Dealer expects my initial delivery time estimate won't move by much, maybe a few months.

Also said anyone placing an order today for a GTS ST is being quoted 2024 for delivery!...

Sounds right, I ordered a month ago, all allocations for this year have been done and there's 20 in front of me,

They had 6 allocations for rest of this year, I hope production ramps up a bit!

I was in a similar situation - interested in the GTS ST but was told it'd keep me waiting till 2023. Was then lured to go with the Turbo ST, which could be delivered by end of this year. So I increased my budget...

You will end up paying a premium for that! Most dealers havent got much stock anyway.
