I would have preferred a woman, but you have to play the hand you're dealt. ?

I tried some super smooth moves on my salesperson today, estimated date has now been pushed further back ?

Q4 is their best guess, but I can go have a test drive at least ?

My lease is expiring Q1 next year. Took the risk and changed my order to CT. Let’s see.

I ordered my car (CT4S) at the end of March 2022. Having looked throughout this site there seems to be a wait of circa 7-8 months from order to delivery if I'm not mistaken (for those have been receiving their cars recently). I was told 12 months but now that the factory seems to be operational and issues with wiring looms seem to have been resolved after being moved, is there a consensus that new orders will be delivered in less than 12 months?

Any advice on how to cope with the wait???!!!

Mine may be arriving at the dealer tomorrow...7 month wait but was first in line for a Turbo. I cope by spending time on this forum, knowing that with great patience comes great enjoyment!

yes, every day of delay is a penny saved! Or in my case, am extra £15 of congestion charge.

I hope I'm wrong, but I get the impression that vehicles being delivered now, have had less production slippage than those that were originally scheduled for production from April onwards. If I had to bet, I'd say that 12 months was typical but some models could be 15+.
Mine, which has remained Fixed In Production since early March, was meant to be built by now.

I would say you’re fairly accurate. The other half Macan GTS had a Feb 4th build but didn’t complete until 6 weeks later. Collected about 2 weeks ago.

IMO for anyone who has configured and ordered a new car in the past 2 months here in the UK. 7-8 months from ordering to receiving is very optimistic.

Just to give you an idea. This is my personal timeline.

CT turbo S (Hatfield) ordered late June 21. Received just before Xmas 21

Macan GTS (E.London) ordered beginning July 21. Received Mid April 22

Both of these OPC have some of the biggest allocations in the country.
