UK: When did you order and when did (or will) your car arrive?

Around 4 weeks i was told.

Spoke to SE today. They have just had a Taycan arrive that completed build 8 days ago. And another a few days ago similar. So it might come soon… or not. Fingers crossed.

Place my order in May and Just collected this Friday!
My Delaer (Hatfield) were recieving 40% of thier remaining 2021 allocations this month and were rushing to get cars handed over before the year end.

Great to hear all the deliveries coming through. I had a call Friday to say mine was on the boat to sheerness.
Approx 2 weeks until pickup they think.
A few months slip from the original September estimate.
Still think I’m very lucky after reading other posts around.

I'm told my car (Turbo S, ordered January 2021) has moved from the factory to the compound. I'd understood the compound is where they keep cars missing certain parts before they can be shipped. My OPC is trying to find out if this is good news in terms of delivery.

Sounds about right. I'm also with Hatfield. They're expecting my car in the next week or two and aiming for me to collect before Xmas.

They also said people that optioned the Burmester aren't so fortunate. Lack of parts for that option are delaying builds. They have a customer who ordered a month before me with similar spec to mine except in Mamba green and have optioned the Burmester. My car is on the way here while their car is still waiting for parts.

Build was supposed to be finished 3/12/21 but has now jumped back 2 weeks. No explanation for why. Oh well, won’t be here for Christmas then

Just been into Glasgow to sign my agreement and part exchange deal. Car due next week ordered in July. OP told me 3 transporters coming in this week and 3 next week so he feels confident it will be there. Things appear to be moving.

Ordered Porsche Preston 1st July confirmed build date 14th Dec model yr 2022 4S so hopefully will get by mid Jan

CT4 ordered August. - Picking it up next Tuesday 14th.
Nothing missing and have 2 keys.
Just swapped my insurance over ready with Admiral and it was £14 more than my X3M

Also have the Silverstone day booked for the day before (Monday) so that has worked out well!
