Took delivery of our Taycan at PECLA and went directly to our detailer for Xpel, Ceramic Coating, Ceramic Tint. It came out perfect. Here’s a few pics.

After a very, very long "held in port" delay, my MY22 CT Turbo S is finally here! Ceramic coat and tint is next ... amazing car, wonderful! A few notes folk may be interested in...

Surprisingly good: InnoDrive + HUD. As a former Tesla/Autopilot user, I was prepared to be dissapointed but this worked really quite well. The HUD keeps that "take the wheel" alert front an center and easy to see. (Note: disable traffic sign reading!)

Not bad: I didn't really want Burmeister but it was included in this dealer Spec. It is significantly better than the Bose in my wife's CT. Probably not $5k better, but better.

Massage seats: no way I would've ever ordered this, but it actually made the LA-to-SF drive a delight.

EA plug-and-charge worked like a charm.

Just got Xpel Stealth PPF on my 4S, ceramic coating, window tint, and had them swap out the clear side markers and install a fitcamx dashcam. Really happy with the results.

for anyone in SoCal, PFS (protective film solutions) is the best in town.

Yes I went to Mike. He’s done 8 cars for me. I need to quit buying cars. Lol.

WOW!! The Stealth PPF lightens up the Volcano Grey to a beautiful shade.

For those unaware (probably most!) I've updated my Mods thread with the final paint job, CETE and plastic welding reflector delete customizations - link here: #197

A few examples - all OEM black plastic painted a beautiful satin black except 'tear-drops' around headlights and the charging door touch surfaces which are gloss black.

Rear 'Monkey-Butt' plate holder gone and holes left have been filled using plastic welding. Also deleted the side rear red reflectors (a US thing) and plastic welded those holes and resprayed rear valance. The rear reflectors in the rear valance ribbed area also painted satin black.

Massively pleased with end result
