I can't figure out what to call it when searching and I'm being overwhelmed with accessory ads. Owners manual was a bust. Any ideas?

It's the upper fitting for the optional cargo net. There should be two pairs, one for when the rear seats are up and one for then they are folded down. There are two pairs of D rings, down by the footwell and the back of the boot/trunk where the lower part of the net attaches.

Porsche p/n 9J0861691.

I wish my ST had those fixings (like my previous Panamera did) but it doesn't 😢.

My CT has them, but I feel like maybe I specced it at build time? At least, I requested that the optional cargo net be delivered along with the car.

Used it a few times when carrying lots of luggage and no rear passengers. Annoyingly I managed to dislodge the sprung "flap" within on one of them being clumsy fitting the net. Not yet dared to grab some trim tools to try to pop the main housing out to see how I might re-fit the sprung flap behind :-/

All the cargo net fittings I can find are big metal O-rings, and I can't find a Tequipment cargo net for the CT anywhere. Does anyone have a link to this part, or a picture of it installed?

Thank you! not "cargo net". Instead, "rear cargo partition":

https://www.suncoastparts.com/produ...-Vuh9ZfAHQtPSc2QWMWEypFRHHuoDks-SDXJtZr2GREns

Official porsche usa tequipment finder does not list this as an accessory for the cross turismo anymore, so whatever stock exists at suncoast is probably the last there is.

ok, $400, same price as a porsche keyholder. But what is it for? Only purpose I can determine is to make it harder to see out the rear view mirror to make taking the driving test more challenging.

Used to be a standard thing in Europe for wagons, to prevent luggage (or other things) in the trunk from landing on the front seats. 🤷🏻‍♂️
It was an option back in ‘22 at least, I didn’t get it. (My dog gets the trunk and half of the rear seats, so I’d have had to cut a hole in the net.)

Mine (MY23) certainly does not have these anchor points:

Maybe it's a GTS thing?
There are (were) two options here:

  1. Cargo net (attaches to the chrome eyelets on the rear luggage floor). Useful when used in conjunction with the reversable rear luggage mat (carpet one side, rubber the other and things are held by friction, and a loading lip cover / bumper protector).
  2. Rear cargo partition divider. This is a more complex arrangement and incorporates additional mounting points in the roof and floor to slot the extendable metal bar of the divider up as far as the back of the front seats if need. Normally I just connect to behind the rear seats in the roof mounted slots. The bottom of the divider depending on which of the 2 installation locations is secured by either seat belt buckles and / or using 4 carabiner fasteners (these connect to the chrome anchor points on the rear luggage floor. The divider also has side panels to protect carpeted luggage area side panels (e.g. if you have a wet dog etc).
So I have the mat and the divider which means I get additional roof mounts as a result.

Look at the Panamera / Macan / Cayenne - you may find that the net is universal and fits all cars with chrome luggage anchor points. The net is not very big and as it is elasticated I'm pretty sure one size with fit all.

Not sure why Porsche have dropped if for J1 / J11 Taycans - could be a supply issue and therefore temporary.

Cargo Partition Net has also been delisted for the Taycan but available for the Panamera / Cayenne (Macan has something different) and not sure that this would fit (it might as the metal rods are foldable and extendable). Note that a factory order would have incorporated additional roof mounts to secure behind the rear seats and optionally the front seats (see my earlier post).
